On May 21, 2025, the department honoured the 6th Semester topper in the 2nd Continuous Test (2nd CAT) and hosted a final meeting for the outgoing students. A total of 24 students attended the programme. The primary goal of felicitation for meritorious students was to recognise and celebrate academic brilliance among students who have done well in the Internal Test.

The event was presided over by Dr. Dorothy Zonunsangi, Head of the Department of English. She explained the objective of the ceremony and awarded a cash reward to Malsawmtluanga, the top performer of the 6th Semester in the 2nd Continuous Assessment Test. The HOD delivered a speech that acknowledged the achievement of Malsawmtluanga and extended her best wishes for his future endeavours. The event was well-received, fostering a sense of recognition and motivation among the students.
Following the felicitation programme, a final meeting with the outgoing students was conducted to bid them farewell and address significant issues related to the upcoming departmental programme. The Head of Department, Dr. Dorothy Zonunsangi informed the students regarding the tentative Field Trip cum Community Service at TNT. Further, she encouraged the 6th Semester students to actively support the College concerning the impending NAAC Assessment. Thereafter, Miss Lalmawizuali Khiangte, Assistant Professor, also highlighted other crucial matters relating to the forthcoming Graduation dinner. The combined event was successful, fostering a positive and memorable experience for all attendees. Group photos were taken as a parting memory.
