
Road Safety Month publicised and awareness programme was organised at the College on February 14, 2024.
The College observed the National Voters Day and Republic Day on 25.1.2024 at the College Campus. The pledge taking was led by Dr.S.Lalnunpuia, followed by the speech of the principal and the hoisting of the National flag. The NCC performed the national armed salute.The function ended with the singing of the National Anthem.

Two Days Awareness Campaign on "Misuse of Social Media" was organised jointly by the college and Kingdom School International, South Korea at the Campus on 23 & 24.1.2024

The ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ agenda is a comprehensive vision plan by the Government of India, aiming to transform India into a developed nation by the year 2047, marking the 100th anniversary of its independence.
The vision encompasses various aspects of development, including economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance. As India stands at this crucial juncture, poised to take off on its growth trajectory, it is important to realise that tremendous dedication and belief in India's destiny, immense desire, potential, talent and capabilities of the Indians, especially the youth, coupled with steadfast leadership, is necessary to realise this potential. There is enormous work that needs to be undertaken in a mission mode to make India Viksit Bharat by 2047. For this to happen, there is a need to chalk out a bold, ambitious and transformative agenda, and its communication to all stakeholders. The role of the youth, who constitute our largest population group, has a huge role here as they will lead India to Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Therefore, it is important to channelise the innovative ideas of the youth into nation- building by inviting them to ideate and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. It is Important that every youth, more so the youth in colleges/ institutes and Universities take part in this important nation building exercise.
Students are encouraged to participate in the platform 'Share Your Ideas' to make India a developed nation by 2047. The platform may be accessed at Viksitbharat 2047 through the portal https://www.mygov.in/
The Department of Public Administration. Government T.Romana college observed 'World Social Work Day' on 16th March 2026, 2:00 pm at GTRC Public Administration Department Room. The resource person was Dr. Lalchhuanmawii, Associate Professor, Govt. T. Romana College. The programme was hosted by Dr.Sakhawliana, Faculty in the department of Public Administration.

On 18th March, 2026, the NSS and NCC Unit of Govt. T. Romana College and Army Recruiting Agency, Aizawl organised Career Guidance for Indian Army at RUSA Hall of Govt T. Romana college, Aizawl.

The college and the Yummy food Ltd. jointly organised Dancing, Eating and Cos play Competition in the college. Mika of 6th Semester won the Dance Battle. Cos play competition was won by Philip Lalremtluanga & Ruthi Ramengmawii

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, the Department of English, in collaboration with the Literature Club, organised a poetry-writing competition. The results of the competition were declared on 20th March 2026. The results are as follows:
First Prize: Ruthi Ramengmawii, 2nd Semester, Department of Economics. Second Prize: Gaby Zobiakhlui Sailo, 6th Semester, Department of Sociology. Third Prize: H. Lallawmawmi, 2nd Semester, Department of Economics

A Two Days Seminar on Unity and Integrity through Culture was organised by IQAC of the college under the PM-USHA scheme where the key note Speaker was Mr.PC Zosangliana and the members of the NGO of Republic Vengthlang actively participated in it. Republic Veng the locality in which the college is located.The Thingsiri Cultural club of the college also presented a practical session of cultural Dances of the state
