An awareness campaign on HIV/AIDS was held at the college campus by the Red Ribbon Club, Govt T. Romana College, in collaboration with the MSACS on the 5th March, 2025. The Resource Person was the Deputy Director of the Red Ribbon Club, Mrs. Lalneihzeli Sailo. She gave an awareness lecture regarding HIV/AIDS to the students. Two other Resource persons from the Positive Women Network of Mizoram, Linda Vanlalrimtuii and Rozampuii, gave their real-life testimony relating to their experience as women living with HIV/AIDS.
Besides, the students were given in-depth knowledge and awareness in relation to how HOV/AIDS is contracted and spread. The students were also given awareness on the ways and means to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS. The programme was attended by 152 students.
